Missing Plano Man Found Safe Sunday Evening
Corey Cann, 21, had been missing since Friday evening.
A 21-year-old Plano man who had been missing since 7 p.m. on Friday has been reported found safe, said Plano Police Chief Steven Eaves. “He was found safe in Carbondale,” said Eaves on Sunday evening. He said friends had helped transport him there. Although there was no definitive answer of why Cann had left, Eaves said, “[Corey] apparently wanted to get away for a while.” “It’s a really scary situation,” said Eaves. “We’re all very grateful he was found safe. That’s the most important thing.” Cann had last been seen at his home in the 500 block of Hale Street, Plano, around 7 p.m. Friday by his brother Ed Cann.
