Editor's Note: The following is a release issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's office: The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in reference to a burglary to motor vehicle that occurred in the area of Route 52 East of Ridge Road, unincorporated Kendall County. This occurred sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2012 and 9:00 a.m. on Nov. 12. The offender took a Trimble EZ Steer GPS unit valued at approximately $6,500 from a John Deere Tractor that was parked in a field. Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.

Incident happened on Oct. 14 at golf course in Plano.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding recent damage done at the Cedardell Golf Course, located at 14264 Hale Rd, Plano, Illinois unincorporated Kendall County. On October 14, 2012 sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. several golf carts were vandalized, along with a soda machine. Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. In the past month, five female customers have had wallets removed from their purse while they shopped at the same business in the 2700 block of Route 34. The Kendall County Sheriff's Office provided the following news release: The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in reference to a Retail Theft which took place at the Oswego Food Mart located at 100 Light Road, Oswego Illinois unincorporated Kendall County. On 07-27-2012 at approximately 1:45 PM a male black offender stole a bottle of rum from the store. The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to attempt to identify the individual in the attached picture. Someone cut wires powering Windy City Amusements' carnival rides during PrairieFest this year. The company is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
If you know who cut the wires powering Windy City Amusements’ rides during PrairieFest in Oswego this year, there could be $10,000 in it for you if you tell the police. Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, and 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, someone cut copper cables leading from the rides to the generators in three places, according to Oswego police. Windy City employees discovered the damage Friday morning, and were delayed in opening the carnival. The vandalism caused $30,000 in damage, police said. Digital projectors stolen over Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
Police are looking for information related to digital projectors that were stolen from a Montgomery elementary school during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. Kendall County Sheriff's police issued a CrimeStoppers alert Monday afternoon in connection with the incident. During the three-day weekend from Jan. 15-17, someone pried open a window at Long Beach Elementary School, 67 Long Beach Road, Montgomery, according to the alert issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. The school is part of Oswego Community Unit School District 308. CrimeStoppers can be reached at 630-553-5999.
