Oswego Man Sentenced for Selling Heroin

Kevin R. Lockwood was charged after selling heroin to members of the Kendall County Cooperative Police assistant Team in June 2012.

An Oswego man has been given an eight-year sentence after being charged with heroin delivery from an incident in June 2012, according to Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis. Lockwood, 23, of the 200 block of Parkside, was sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. In June 2012 Lockwood was arrested after he sold heroin to members of the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (C.P.A.T.), said Weis. I have to say, I am a family friend of this amazing family. And never should you judge Mr. And Mrs. Lockwood, they are good people. But the addiction is within the whole family. We our have our problems, even you. Theirs was just put on a bulliten board. We should keep this family in our prayers. Imagine how they feel?
