Update: Plano Police Chief Says Case Is Being Treated as Missing Person, Not Kidnapping
21-year-old wheelchair bound Plano resident Corey Cann has not been seen since approximately 7 p.m. Feb. 22.
Update 7:56 p.m., Sunday Corey Cann has been reported found safe, said Plano Police Chief Steven Eaves. Read the account here. Update 2:10 p.m., Sunday Plano Police Chief Steven Eaves told Patch that Corey Cann is currently being treated as a missing person by the police department. "As of right now we're looking at a missing person. If it does become a kidnapping or abduction we will change the status," he said. Eaves said that Cann's information was submitted to the state police.
