Retired District 308 Teacher Sentenced for Sexual Assault
Donald McDowell taught at Traughber and Thompson junior highs and was charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child.
A retired Thompson Junior High teacher was sentenced to eight years for a second-degree sexual assault of a child, according to Wisconsin court documents. Donald McDowell, 65, previously of the 500 block of Danbury Drive, received his sentencing on Jan. 7, 2013 at the Waukesha County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He previously pleaded guilty on Nov. 6, 2012 to the count of second-degree sexual assault, while three other charges were dismissed but read in. He had also been charged with one count of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, and two counts of possession of child pornography.
