Snow Coming Thursday — Brace Yourself

A storm system could dump 6 to 12 inches of snow on the Midwest this Thursday.

Update 12:15 p.m. Tuesday: The National Weather Service has issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for north central Illinois beginning today. A period of late snow may be expected late this morning into the afternoon. Some minor slushy snow accumulation is possible. Starting Wednesday evening to Thursday evening a strong storm system is forecasted to be in the area.
