Update 1:40 p.m. Thursday Although no snow has fallen yet, Public Works Director Jerry Weaver said public works staff is monitoring the area and has trucks "ready to roll" should they be needed. We go one winter without any big snow and everyone forgets that we are in the Chicagoland area. I hope that the guys who plow are going to make a few bucks this winter.   more ›
