Village of Oswego Discusses Snow Removal Process Thus Far
Several cul-de-sac residents have complained about the recent snowfall not being removed from their street.
Oswego saw its first real snowfall over the weekend. Not everyone, notably cul-de-sac residents, were all too happy about it. Or rather they weren’t happy with the removal of it. Earlier in the year the Village approved a contract with Forest View Landscaping to specifically plow all of the Oswego cul-de-sacs during occasions determined by Public Works. Previously the contract only extended to some cul-de-sacs. Public Works director Jerry Weaver said the main purpose of the contract was to provide plowing services to cul-de-sac residents in a timely fashion when the need arose.
