Barry Kolanowski, Neighbor

Barry Kolanowski, author, speaker, business consultant and founder of The Compass Group, Inc., has shared over 2,000 motivational presentations in classrooms, boardrooms and ballrooms.  He has presented to companies such as Suncast, Corporate, Caterpillar, Honeywell, Farmers Insurance, 3M, Rush-Copley Medical Center, Illinois Department of Corrections, Illinois State University, ConAgra Foods, several Chamber of Commerce events and others. He is also a faculty member of the Waubonsee Community College Small Business Development center.

He focuses on business and personal success, and is most known for his Seven Sales Secrets for Non-Sales People, a presentation that illuminates the way people make decisions and how to be comfortable with sales. 

He is formerly the Regional Director for the American Cancer Society and faculty member of Skill Path, one of the largest business-consulting firms in America.  He is the president of the Rotary Club of Oswego and certified life coach.  He provides personal and professional, corporate training and motivational talks to groups of all sizes.

Barry Kolanowski and his wife Julie have lived in the Fox Valley area for more than twenty years and have a committment to see positive growth in the lives of people and their businesses.

He loves public speaking, organizing, strategic planning and goal setting.  He released his first book, "PAUSE: Lessons on How to Get What YOU Want out of life," last December and soon to be released his new book, "Seven Sales Secrets for Non-Sales People."
