About Katra

Wife and mother to two boys, ages 5 and 9.  My oldest son, born at 24wks, has Ataxic Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, my youngest has mild Aspergers. Their lives have played a pivotal role in shaping who I’ve become over the years. 

Formerly a Finance Analyst and Regional Supervisor, I discovered a new path after the birth of our twins and a loss that would direct our lives towards nurturing and teaching our children, while learning, growing, and advocating in a world we were still discovering.

In my spare time, I serve on the District 308 Finance & Operations Advisory Committee, Chair the D308 Parent Communication Council, serve as Vice President-Communications for EPEC308, and I'm also a Surrogate Parent Advocate.

I am wondering if you have info on some of the feeding clinics you were working with. I am not sure if you ever ended up going or not? But I have a student up in SD 129 that could use some info. Hope that all is well!

Hi Katra,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
