Photo Gallery: Oswego Beats and Eats

The outdoor music festival featured eight musical acts at Prairie Point Park.

The first Oswego Beats and Eats festival was held on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Prairie Point Park.

The outdoor festival featured 8 different musical acts including national headliners Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors and Red Wanting Blue.

Food trucks including the Fat Shallot and Jerk. Modern Jamaican Chicken were in attendance along with other festival food.

Patch reader Jon Metcalf wrote on the opinion boards that, "Beats and Eats was awesome! I hope more people go next year to help support this new festival. I think Prairiefest organizers should look into booking Red Wanting Blue as a main event concert, they rocked the night away!"
