SUMMER BLOOD DRIVE

Please join us for our 10th blood drive in honor of Tia Carr at Oswego Senior Center, 154 East Washington, Oswego, IL 60543 on July 13, 2013 from 9:00am-2:00pm.

Tia Carr will be a senior this fall at Oswego High School. She has Common Variable Immune Deficiency, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Uvitis (Arthritis in the eyes). As some of you may know it takes over 3500 people for her one dose every 7 weeks. She needs this blood infusion treatment in order to stay healthy and live a normal life.

Each summer there is a huge shortage of blood in the blood banks. Consequently, we have decided to do a summer drive. We do these blood drives in honor of Tia, but in reality, over 44,000 blood donations are needed a day across America. Please join us in helping supply this huge need! It doesn't cost anything but your time. Hope to see you all there!
