Wednesday, June 12

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at an unknown time in the 100 block of South Harrison. Someone punctured the tires on the victim’s vehicle.

Alec J. Dominguez, 18, of the 700 block of Pinehurst Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. at the Oswego Police Department and charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, said Oswego police.

Patricia R. McCullah, 19, of the 0-99 block of Old Post, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Routes 34 and 71 and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

Identity theft

Oswego police took a report for identity theft that occurred at an unknown time. The victim tried to open a checking account and found that someone using their social security number had already opened an account.

Warrant

Ashley M. Phipps, 27, of the 500 block of Danbury, Oswego, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. at Route 34 and Mason Square and charged with an in state warrant, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Routes 34 and 71 and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license, warrant

Christopher Brito-Pena, 32, of the 200 block of North Oak Street, West Chicago, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. at Wolf Road and Cardinal and charged for driving without a valid license and an in state warrant, said Oswego police.

Tuesday, June 11

No valid driver’s license

  • Sergio V. Cruz, 22, of the 600 block of Concord Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:25 a.m. at Fifth Street and Route 30 and charged for driving without a valid license and speeding, said Oswego police.
  • Araceli Ferrer, 37, of the 3800 block of Bailey Road, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. at Douglas Road and Route 34 and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police. He was also cited for driving with only one headlight.

Retail theft

Oswego police took a report for a retail theft that occurred on June 6 in the 2700 block of Route 34.  A female took $149.93 worth of merchandise from the store.

Monday, June 10

Retail theft

  • Oswego police took a report for a retail theft that occurred at 6:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of Route 34. Someone used counterfeit currency to purchase items valued over $300.
  • Nicolaza Alvarez-Cayetano, 50, of the 100 block of Testa, Naperville, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. in the 2500 block of Route 34 and charged with felony retail theft at a total of $396.32, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for the possible theft of an iPhone 4S that was taken 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Century.

Domestic battery

Darrie D. Austin, 23, of the 300 block of Whitewater, Oswego, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

Juan D. Carreon-Montoya, 27, of the 200 block of West Washington, Oswego, was arrested at 10:03 a.m. at Washington and Paro Court and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.

Sunday, June 9

Driving without valid license

A juvenile, 17, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. at Route 34 and Mason Square Drive and charged with driving without a valid license and speeding, said Oswego police.

Criminal trespass to state supported property

A juvenile was arrested at 7:28 p.m. in the 300 block of Century Drive and charged with criminal trespass to state supported property, said Oswego police.

Saturday, June 8

Theft

Oswego police took a report for a stolen registration sticker that occurred at an unknown time. The incident is under investigation.

Domestic battery

Ronald O. Coy, 60, of the 200 block of Ashley Court, Oswego, was arrested at 3 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Thursday, June 6

Driving with revoked license

James C. Simpson, 34, of the 400 block of Gregory Lane, Plano, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Route 34 and Heritage and charged for driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police. He was also cited for driving with no headlights and obstructing identification.

Warrant, speeding

Erica M. Higgins, 27, of the 9300 block of 4th Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. at Route 30 and Townes Crossing and charged with a warrant and speeding, said Oswego police.

Tuesday, June 4

Theft

Oswego police took a report for the theft of two cell phones that occurred at an unknown time in the gym area of Oswego High School.
