Montgomery Residents, Aurora Man Killed in Aurora Car Crash

The car crash occurred late Sunday evening on Broadway.

Two Montgomery residents have been reported killed in a late evening Sunday car crash in Aurora. 

Aurora police are currently investigating a traffic accident that happened around 11:49 p.m. on Broadway Avenue south of Hazel Avenue which left three dead and five injured, according to ABC News.

Police said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision. A Dodge Challenger driven by an Aurora man was headed northbound on Broadway and a minivan carrying a family of seven Montgomery residents was headed south when they collided, according to ABC.

The 28-year-old driver of the Challenger was killed and a women in the van was killed on scene. Another woman died later at the hospital. The women were a 77 and 57-year-old mother and daughter pair.

The names of everyone involved are being withheld pending the notification of family members.

Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call Traffic Investigators at 630-256-5330.
